Saint John
Be thou faithful unto death.
Believe not every spirit.
Bowels of compassion.
Every one that doeth evil hateth the light.
Fear hath torment.

God is love.
He that doeth truth cometh to the light.
He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
He that loveth not his brother, whom he hath seen, how can he love God, whom he hath not seen?

Perfect love casteth out fear.
That is the true light which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us.
