1. The leadership team at my organization is concerned with and very involved in any performance improvement projects that can improve quality of care, patient and employee satisfaction, and patient experience and outcomes.
1. Frontline staff being overwhelmed with
the education and training of the CAUTI prevention strategies and the use of a new product for foley care. 2. The nursing staff is passionate about providing the best care for the patients and improving patient outcomes.
2. Issues with supply chain being able to obtain foley care wipes due to shipping issues or supply and demand issues. This could delay the project if unable to obtain.
3. The leadership team at my organization encourages staff to be innovative regarding meeting quality goals and benchmarking.
3. Having frontline staff that are resistant
to change regarding the use of wipes for foley care. Staff that are not engaged in the project could have a negative affect on other staff.
