Assignments
In this course, A & P II, you are studying the structure and function of body parts and their relationships, the body as a whole, as well
as, the diseases that affect it. The knowledge gained from this course is fundamental to your work as a medical assistant, including but
not limited to taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and patient
education.
In this assignment, you will complete the following using the knowledge you have learned in class, the textbook, and from your
own inquiry. Your grade will be based on three components:
Part I:
Anatomy & Physiology: Body Systems, Organs, Function, pathology, diseases, treatment and life span.
Part II: Nutrition
You will complete this project throughout the term. After each body system has been taught, you will complete the corresponding
assignment.
You will draw on the knowledge you have learned in class, the textbook, and class notes.
The three parts of the
project will be completed according to the schedule on the tracking calendar.
Format Requirements:
Each homework assignment should be computer generated, and typed in 12-inch font, Times New Roman
using the template attached.
