Warren, William Fairfield. An American clergyman and educator; born at Williamsburg, MA, March 13, 1833; died in 1929. He wrote: ‘True Key to Ancient Cosmology and Mythological Geography’ (1882); ‘Paradise Found: The Cradle of the Human Race at the North Pole’ (1885), a very curious speculation; ‘The Quest of the Perfect Religion’ (1887); ‘In the Footsteps of Arminius’ (1888); ‘The Story of Gottlieb,’ a study of ideals (1891); ‘Constitutional Law Questions in the Methodist Episcopal Church’; ‘The Religion of the World and the World-Religion’ (1900); ‘The Universe as Pictured in Milton’s Paradise Lost’ (1915).
