Karl Müller (1819–1889)
Müller, Karl (mül’ler). A German romance-writer; born at Stuttgart, Feb. 8, 1819; died there, Nov. 28, 1889. He was editor of several periodicals. He wrote: ‘Life’s Changes, by Franz von Elling’ (1854); ‘New Mysteries of Paris’ (1863); ‘New Mysteries of London’ (1865–67); ‘The White Woman’ (1868–73); ‘The Turks before Vienna’ (1870); ‘At the Court of the Northern Semiramis’ (1873); etc. Among his pseudonyms were “Ottfried Mylius,” “Rod. Nellenburg,” etc.
