Julia Romana Howe Anagnos (1844–1886)

Anagnos, Mrs. Julia Romana (Howe) (a-näg’nos). An American poet and littérateur, daughter of Julia Ward Howe; born in 1844; died in 1886. In 1870 she married M. Anagnos, superintendent of the Perkins Institute for the Blind, Boston. She wrote ‘Stray Chords’ (1883) and ‘Philosophiæ Quæstor’ (1885).
