John Clark Murray (1836–1917)

Murray, John Clark. A Canadian educator and miscellaneous writer; born in Paisley, Scotland, March 19, 1836; died in 1917. In 1872 he became professor of mental and moral philosophy in McGill University, Montreal. He is the author of ‘The Ballads and Songs of Scotland’ (1874); ‘Handbook of Psychology’ (1885); and ‘Solomon Maimon: an Autobiography,’ translated from the German, with notes and additions (1888).
