Parrot, Henry. An English epigrammatist; place and date of birth and death unknown. In the first quarter of the seventeenth century he published six volumes of licentious epigrams and satires. One of the volumes was entitled ‘Springes to Catch Woodcocks’ (1613), and contains 216 epigrams; another, ‘Cures for the Itch: Characters, Epigrams, Epitaphs’ (1626).
