Andrews, Charles McLean. An American historical and descriptive writer; born at Wethersfield, CT, Feb. 22, 1863; died in 1943. He was professor at Yale College. He wrote: ‘Historical Development of Modern Europe’; ‘River Towns of Connecticut’ (1889); ‘The Old English Manor.’
